Dueling Trump, Biden events in battleground states sets tone for upcoming debates

President Donald Trump and Joe Biden gave a debate performance preview of sorts in different swing states on Thursday as the Democratic nominee called for the president to step down over his Covid-19 response while Trump hammered Biden over his policy agenda.

Biden held a drive-in town hall in Pennsylvania with CNN, moderated by Anderson Cooper, in which the former vice president was asked an array of policy questions from voters across the political spectrum, and sharply attacked the president. On Trump’s coronavirus response, Biden excoriated the president, who was recently heard on audio telling veteran journalist Bob Woodward that he intentionally downplayed the virus.

“He knew it and he did nothing. It’s close to criminal,” Biden said. He later added during the questioning, “This president should step down.”

CS:GO league BLAST Premier earlier today it will reduce the season prize pools to increase teams’ participation fees with “full support of partner teams” today. But the Counter-Strike Professional Players’ Association has responded that the decision was made “unilaterally without consulting the CSPPA and the players.”

MACON, Ga. — This Sunday, Open Streets Macon is coming back in to town to give Central Georgians a sample of what life would look like without cars.

During Open Streets, stretches of road are closed down to allows the community to bike, walk, and enjoy a park-like experience in the middle of the road.

This year, the event will look a little different in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rather than celebrate along one two-mile stretch, Open Streets will take place once a month at different, smaller locations until November.

This month, the roadway fun will come to Maynard Street and the Rosa Jackson Recreation Center.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will reportedly be heading to
tribal land for its upcoming
UFC 249
pay-per-view event.

According to the
New York Times
, the Las Vegas-based promotion will hold the
April 18 card at the Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Lemoore, Calif.
The venue was initially
reported
by Sherdog.com founder and veteran MMA journalist Jeff
Sherwood.

Tachi Palace Casino is located on land belonging to the Tachi-Yokut
Tribe, which means that the UFC will not be subject to the state
government mandated stay-at-home order due to the ongoing
coronavirus pandemic. It also allows the promotion to circumvent
the California State Athletic Commission’s ban on combat sports
events that runs through May. Tachi Palace Casino closed on March
20.
