Funfair set to go ahead in Canterbury’s Victoria Recreation Ground amid coronavirus pandemic

A council has given the go-ahead for a controversial funfair to take place in a park next week.

The fair, run by Forrest Amusements, will be allowed to run at Canterbury ‘s Victoria Recreation Ground, as the city council says it is “satisfied with the plans they have in place” to stay Covid secure.

Children’s Museum Of Manhattan Set To Reopen Soon: What To Know

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The popular Children’s Museum of Manhattan recently announced it is reopening in October after an extended closure of more than five months.

The Upper West Side museum will reopen to members on Oct. 1 and for all guests on Oct. 16.

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan sits on 212 West 83rd Street.

After working with health advisers for months, the children’s museum has created a socially-distanced museum experience that “encourages playful, in-person opportunities while maintaining social distancing protocols,” according to a news release from the museum.

Families will be able to choose between two curated adventures led by educators from the museum. Either selection will bring you through the museum’s exhibitions in a small group.

The curated visits will last one hour and 45 minutes.

Sept 28 (Reuters) – Wall Street was set to surge at the open on Monday following the longest weekly losing streak in a year for the S&P 500 and the Dow, with investors piling into shares of beaten-down sectors, including banks and travel.

Ulster Rugby set to welcome limited number of fans to Kingspan Stadium for Pro14 opener

Ulster Rugby is set to welcome 600 supporters to the 18,211-seater Kingspan Stadium on Friday night for the first game of the 2020/21 Guinness PRO14 season.

The trial to reintroduce supporters and other members of the Ulster Rugby family follows what Ulster Rugby calls “a comprehensive consultation process with local government, Belfast City Council and the IRFU.” 

In total, around 850 people will attend the season opener against Benetton Rugby.
