CLEVELAND, Ohio — For those looking to savor the remaining days of summer over the holiday weekend, this bike route has a little bit of everything. The video above was filmed while biking and provides a preview of the journey.

23-mile bike ride
It begins, as so many good rides do, in the Cleveland Metroparks. You’ll tour both sections of the Euclid Creek Reservation, from the green creekside corridor to the sandy beaches on Lake Erie. The Harrison Dillard Bikeway leads through the Cleveland Cultural Gardens with many opportunities to explore. In University Circle, you’ll ride next to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Cleveland Museum of Art’s newly redesigned Smith Family Gateway. Following the Lake-to-Lakes Trail, you can take a quick detour to visit the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes.
I’ve created a RideWithGPS route map which includes a cue list, mileage and other details. Special thanks to Mark Filippell for sending me this route.
