Delivery rider laments fake booking that cost him P1,036 of hard-earned money
– A delivery rider took to Facebook to share his sad experience with a fake booking
– The rider lost P1,036 because of the canceled order, and in the time of crisis, the amount he lost could already go a long way
– The FB user who shared the post was Tope Toomilla and he expressed anger towards the client, who reportedly explained that her child used the phone and made the order
– The incident said to have happened in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental
Another delivery rider was victimized by fake booking and this time around, the client canceled because ti was her kid who got the phone and made the order.
The order was for McDonald’s, with hot caramel and a panda bear package, which was why the total reached P1,036.
The convo between the rider and the client that was posted on FB showed that the woman just sent a message to cancel because it’s her kid who made the order.

Accordingly, when the rider tried to contact her, she was no longer answering. The post elicited a number of reactions from netizens. Some were obviously fellow riders.

A food delivery rider was lauded by netizens after it sacrificed so much to protect the food of his customer, including braving the flooded street.
In another instance, a popular vlogger, Basel Manadil, gave cash to the delivery rider who brought his food. In return, several riders brought him some food to show their thanks.
Food delivery services are very popular nowadays, especially with limited transportation available. Among the popular ones are Grab Food and FoodPanda.
