Sept. 18, 2020

Summer may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean family fun has to. Fantasy Island Amusement Park on Long Beach Island plans on keeping their rides open weekends through October 11th and has just announced they’ll be ending the season with a Fall Fireworks Spectacular and their annual Halloween event.

“We’re excited to keep our outside rides and games open into the fall,” says Brian Wainwright, CEO. “The safety of our guests and team members is still and always our top priority. We operated with our Safe Play guidelines all summer long and will continue to do so as we head into fall.”

Fantasy Island’s fall schedule includes:

  • Outside Rides open every Saturday and Sunday until October 11th
  • Unlimited Rides for just $25 per rider, every Saturday and Sunday through October 10th
  • Fall Fireworks Spectacular Saturday October 10th at 8pm
  • 2nd Annual Halloween Fun Fest, Sunday October 11th, Noon-4pm
  • Arcade open Friday-Sunday in September, as well as Saturdays and Sundays for the rest of the year

“For the last two years, we have closed out the season with fireworks, and we know how much our guests look forward to it,” Wainwright added. “We are also happy to be able to bring the Halloween Fun Fest back for its second year so guests can have the opportunity to enjoy Halloween festivities in a fun, safe atmosphere. There will be Trick-Or-Treating, a pumpkin patch, a costume contest and more. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone again!”

In order to operate safely this season, Fantasy Island added new Safe Play guidelines earlier this year for guests and team members to follow. These guidelines will remain in effect during the fall season and can be found on their website here.
