Updated:FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – One person is dead after being shot during an early morning fight at at a Fort Wayne gas station. Police are now looking for five persons of interest as part of their investigation.
Fort Wayne police responded to calls made shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday of a shooting in the 3000 block of East State Boulevard near the intersection with Hobson Road.
The shooting happened just inside the Quick Stop at the Shell gas station. There was a fight between several men and one died at the scene from a gunshot wound. He has been identified by the Allen County Coroner’s Office as Stephon T. Holland, 22, of Fort Wayne. He died from a gunshot wound and his death has been ruled a homicide.
Wednesday afternoon the Fort Wayne Police Department released photos of five people considered persons of interest in the shooting.
