Burglary, auto theft: Elbur Avenue

A resident called the police at 7:21 a.m. Sept. 10 to report someone apparently entered their home overnight because her husband’s wallet was missing and so was her vehicle.

Burglary: Belle Avenue

A woman came to the police station Sept. 15 to report she believed someone came into her apartment through a window and stole her laptop.

Theft: Bunts Road

Police report discovering at 5:33 a.m. Sept. 10 at least eight vehicles having been entered and gone through.

Theft: Waswcana Avenue

Police report a complaint at 5:35 a.m. Sept. 10 of at least two vehicles having been gone through.

Grand theft vehicle: Bunts Road

Police early Sept. 10 while investigating a rash of cars being entered on Bunts Road overnight discovered a vehicle was taken from one of the residences.

Driving under the influence: Detroit Avenue

Police at 6:26 p.m. Sept. 11 received a call about a highly intoxicated man getting into a car in a parking lot and pulling southbound onto Lakeland Avenue. An officer spotted the car and stopped it on Franklin Avenue near Marlowe Avenue. The officer arrested the male driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and had the car towed.

Theft: W. 117th Street

Police responded at 10:54 a.m. Sept. 15 to Aldi’s regarding a man with four boxes of items from the grocery store that he refused to pay for. Police cited the man for petty theft.

Criminal damaging: Victoria Avenue

Officers at 6:35 p.m. Sept. 12 took a report about a back window of a vehicle being broken out.

Theft: Lake Avenue

Police at 10:16 a.m. Sept. 12 took a report about a bike being stolen from a residence and another bike was left in its place.

Theft Clifton Boulevard

A resident at 9:19 a.m. reported a bicycle was stolen from the residence and another bike was left behind.
