International Flights Latest News: Under Central government’s Vande Bharat Mission Phase 6, Air India on Tuesday has announced flights between Delhi and Birmingham from September 18 to 24. Part of the Air Bubble arrangements between the two countries, Air India will operate flights between Delhi and Birmingham via Amritsar. Issuing a notification, the airline said these flights are in addition to the existing flights between India and UK. Bookings for these flights are open through Air India website, Booking Offices and authorised travel agents.

As per updates, Air India will operate the flights from Delhi to Birmingham every week on Friday and from Birmingham to Delhi every week on Saturday. Air India is already operating a total of 97 flights between India and the UK under Vande Bharat Mission Phase 6. Apart from this, Air India is also set to operate direct flights between Kolkata and London twice a week from September 16 to October 24. Since July, India has established air bubbles with the US, the UK, France, Germany, the UAE, Qatar and the Maldives.

Scheduled international passenger flights continue to remain suspended in India since March 23 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
