Japan’s theme parks are no joke.
Sure they may have the usual Disneyland and Universal Studios, but they also have onsen (hot spring bath) parks, ones dedicated to certain cartoon characters (like Thomas the Tank Engine), and was even supposed to open the doors to Super Nintendo World if it wasn’t for the current coronavirus pandemic.
So it’s no surprise that a new theme park was recently announced to be in the works.
What is surprising is the nature of this new theme park.
From Japanese adult video maker Soft on Demand (SOD), comes a new business venture.
Promoted as a “theme park for adults,” SOD Land will be opening its doors in October.
The five-floor theme park will be located in Tokyo’s entertainment and red-light district Kabukicho and will allow visitors to dine and wine with actress who appear in SOD films.
They made the announcement on September 23, 2020, through a very… Confusing and eye-catching video to say the least.
But surprisingly, the floors will contain pretty tame activities.
Most of the floors will generally be a cheaper replication of the neighborhood’s expensive hostess clubs with many of SOD’s actress serving drinks to customers.
One floor is even named the “Sex Industry Research Center” but is described as a place to “look at styles and faces” while enjoying a drink.

There’s even a “Silent Bar” where customers can relax quietly while a sexy bartender appears on the other side of a one-way mirror.
If you’re interested get your wallets ready because there’s an entrance fee of 500 yen (US$4.70) and you’ll have to pay for all food and drinks you order while in the theme park.
Its doors will open on October 10, 2020.
