The amusement park said it will continue to operate through Nov. 1 on select days.

Instead of Halloween Haunt, Kings Island officials said they would introduce an all-new event called Tricks and Treats Fall Fest. That event will begin Sept. 26 and feature rides, unique food options, fall-themed games where everyone wins, family and adults-only game shows, dance parties, corn and hay mazes, a QR quest, a challenge course, pint-sized tractor rides and crafts.

The event will enable social distancing and capacity management, park officials said.

This week, Kings Island officials worked to get the entire park decorated for the fall fest. Guests will see festive and spooky decor displayed throughout the amusement park to help get them in the Halloween spirit.
