QUARRY Hill residents will soon be greeted by a brightly painted reminder to gratitude, as they enjoy their neighbourhood park. Mr Franklin said he hoped the mural would help people pause and think about the things they had to be grateful for. He said the space was perfect for something people could interact with, like the mural, used by children, families, dog walkers and more. “This year it’s been pretty tough with COVID and people being isolated,” he said. “I’ve just been looking for a way to use my creativity to add positivity to the neighborhood that I live in, and just to help people express things they’re grateful for. “It’s often the little things, walking the dog, a sunny day. the fact the sky is blue, time with your family, just little things.” OTHER NEWS: Mr Franklin said he hoped to finish the mural by the end of the week, after starting on Saturday night. A graphic designer and lettering artist by trade, he said loved getting the chance to get out and paint murals.
