Situated on a high point in Cedar Hill, this 13,739-square-foot home overlooks the D-FW area. And no one has ever lived in it full time, listing agent Jim Walsh said.

“It is one of the truly most amazing listings I’ve ever seen in my life,” Walsh said.

Built in 2019, the home sits on 4.38 acres at a high point in the area that allows for views of nearby Joe Pool Lake and the surrounding areas.

With eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and two half-bathrooms, the home has plenty of room for residents or visitors. Walsh said that the owner, who built the home as a speculative property, only used the home to host family or guests.

At the entrance, the staircases alone cost more than a million dollars, Walsh said. Another million was spent on the “resort-style” pool that has waterfalls and other water features.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room look over the property. The living room is open to the second floor, with high ceilings and hallways accented by detailed arches. Details abound throughout the home, with plenty of built-in cabinets, elaborate fireplaces, wood details on the ceiling and even a fish tank.

One of the bedrooms is a bunk room with built-in beds. All of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The primary suite (or rather, the primary wing) has an attached nursery and a room designated for dog grooming.

The home has a six-car garage, where Walsh said the owner showed him a Rolls-Royce that previously belonged to Zsa Zsa Gabor. The property also includes a media room in the main house and a poolside cabana with an outdoor kitchen. The home also has a separate mother-in-law suite.

The home is three stories with an elevator, but the third floor is used primarily for mechanical aspects of the home.

The home at 2449 Mountain View Court is listed for $9.95 million by Jim Walsh of Allie Beth Allman and Associates.
