If the thought of battling crowds at a theme park amid the pandemic is not your cup of tea, you now have another option.

Beech Bend Amusement Park and Splash Lagoon in Bowling Green, Kentucky is allowing families to enjoy the space all to themselves for a small fee.

While tickets to enter the park normally cost $38, getting it all to yourselves will cost quite a bit more.

According to the New York Post, families of six can rent out the park in two-hour increments starting at $5,000. Families are able to rent it out for up to eight hours, which would bring the cost up to $20,000 for a day of rides and attractions without any strangers getting too close for comfort.

Larger families can be accommodated if they call in advance, the outlet noted.

In addition to roller coasters and other thrill rides, the park also features plenty of family-friendly rides for children of all ages. The adjacent Splash Lagoon water park, outfitted with a lazy river, wave pool and multiple water slides, is the perfect way to cool off as the summer days wind down.

Families looking to enjoy the park without others encroaching on their personal space will need to act really fast. Beechwood Bend Amusement park is set to close for the summer on Saturday, September 19th.

For those looking to enjoy theme parks in the more traditional way, Disney parks have begun phased reopenings after shutting down in March.

With new safety protocols in place, some things that have made the iconic parks magical over the years have been forced to undergo some changes.

New policies at the various Disney theme parks include mandatory face masks, social distancing, contactless pay, and the temporary suspension of meet and greets with the studio’s iconic characters like Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
