Dubai, United Arab Emirated: UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo, the new exhibition and conference for the polyurethane industry in the Middle East and Africa, has been rescheduled to 26 – 28 October 2021, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Organised jointly by Crain Communications and Media Fusion and co-located with Sleep Expo Middle East, UTECH Middle East Foam & Polyurethane had been due to run in March 2021, but has been postponed due to the impacts of the COVID-19 global pandemic. As well as the change of dates, the organisers have announced the addition of a co-located show, Adhesives Sealants & Bonding Expo, also organised by Crain Communications and Media Fusion. Adhesives play an important role in mattress production and the inaugural show runs with an additional adhesives special feature area.

“The launch of UTECH Middle East Foam & Polyurethane in Dubai is a great opportunity to bring the UTECH polyurethane trade show brand to the rapidly-expanding Middle East and Africa region,” said UTECH Trade Show Director Debbie Hershfield. “However, as some health, safety and travel restrictions may still be in place in first quarter of 2021, postponing the event until October allows our exhibitors and visitors the best opportunity for a successful launch event.”

Crain Global Polymer Group organizes some of the global polyurethane industry’s largest trade shows including UTECH Europe, PU China/UTECH Asia and UTECH Las Americas. Polyurethanes are widely used in many of today’s most advanced products ranging from automotive interiors, medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear through to insulation, adhesives and coatings. Show organizers expect visitors to UTECH Middle East Foam & Polyurethane to come from businesses in Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.

U.S. or European-based companies interested in reserving exhibition space for UTECH Middle East Foam & Polyurethane in Dubai should contact UTECH Sales Director Ed Rich at [email protected] Companies based in the Middle East and Africa should contact Taher Patrawala at [email protected]
