Watch: Nice holiday weekend ahead

big area of high pressure. Settling in looks like a great holiday weekend to be outdoors. We have at least that system continuing to fade off shore. You have probably noticed a little bit of a west northwesterly breeze that continues to bring in even drier air dewpoints fading back into the forties this afternoon, it’s going to set up some cooler evenings and some sunny, pleasant afternoons over the course of the holiday weekend. The one stag does look to be the chance of a passing shower during the daylight hours tomorrow for the North Country, otherwise will be in the seventies with dew points, mainly in the forties to near 50 degrees. Very comfortable, which is some fair weather clouds. Otherwise, each afternoon, partly sunny skies. On Sunday, there’s a small chance of a pop up showers well, but 90 to 95% of the state is going to be dry with temperatures in the seventies, and then a front back out to our west Monday holds. And that means while temperatures will be a couple of notches warmer seventies to near 80 a chance of storms stays to our west and should for the most part minus just a stray shower thunder shower sometime on Tuesday. This is the big story here, two points fading into the forties this afternoon and for tonight again, some cooler temperatures each night over the course of the holiday weekend, with highs each afternoon in the seventies. We start to climb back into the eighties by the middle of next week, with more humidity in place.

Saturday will be cooler (highs in the 70s) with mostly to partly sunny skies. We’ll see slightly higher temps on Sunday with a mix of clouds and sun.
