The Massillon Museum has kicked off its annual membership drive. Operations Officer Scot Phillips, who coordinates the campaign, has announced the theme of the tenth annual effort: “Many Members Make MassMu!”
DETAILS
Individuals, students, and families who join at the basic level receive discounts on classes, workshops, and Museum shop purchases; newsletters and calendars; invitations to “members-only” events; and facility rental opportunities. Temporarily suspended events and rentals will be resumed when the pandemic eases. New members receive a Museum logo item.
This campaign features added “member perks” for joining or renewing. Weekly incentives are announced every Monday on MassMu’s social media pages. Bi-weekly member-only workshops will also take place. The Museum practices social distancing onsite; workshops will also be offered virtually.
Individual memberships are $25; the entire family receives membership advantages for $50. Students may join for $10. Pets can join for just $5 or $10. Those who choose higher membership levels earn increasing benefits. Corporate members qualify for additional rewards including free use of the ANC Conference Room, listing on the Museum website, Museum courtesy cards, and more.
To become a member of the Massillon Museum, contact Phillips at 330-833-4061, Ext. 110; stop at the reception desk for a membership brochure; or visit massillonmuseum.org.
WHY YOU SHOULD BELONG Membership support augments the income received from property taxes, which cover only about 70% of the Museum’s total operating budget. The Massillon Museum, a downtown cultural hub where art and history come together, is open to the public with free admission from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
